Hi, I am Chenyi, a Chinese (Mandarin) native speaker. I am very patient and friendly. As an ESL teacher, I am keen to improve my English speaking skills! Also, as a mum of a 22 months old, I would like to talk with my baby girl in English at home more often so that she can possibly grow up as a bilingual. That's another reason I want to improve my English. I got some experience in teaching Mandarin when I studied MA Tesol in Liverpool several years ago. I am a student currently studying in China and would really love to better my spoken chinese in a more coordinated way. I speak English,that is my first language as well as my local language and Chinese will be my second language. I am currently taking chinese classes but it's not really helping with communication as much as I'd like. I love movies, writing, reading, travel, nature and food. I study electrical engineering as a major at University. Then I work as an automation engineer and work with colleagues or partners from Germany and Switzerland. So I started to learn German. I ordered food and bought goods by speaking German when I was in Switzerland and Germany, I am still at a very limited level.
Currently, I am working in the Blockchain industry, as an ecosystem manager here, we have an international team.
I can exchange Mandarin with you. I like to read history books, and know the history of China and Europe, I've been to German and Switzerland before, and love the lifestyle there.
