Hi, I am a retired bloke who has been learning Spanish for about 3 years. I like walking, keeping fit (although sometimes it's not that enjoyable), playing bridge, going out into the countryside. live music ranging from classical to heavy rock. I live with my partner. We are very lucky to live near the countryside but also close to Bristol. I would like to learn more Spanish and feel more comfortable having conversations with native Spanish speakers (from mainland Spain in Castilian dialect) who can explain my mistakes in English (where necessary), and likewise I can help them with their English. Exchange would be by video link. I am free during the day and some evenings, and maybe we could talk once a week or every fortnight (no pressure).

I'm a native english speaker (british) who grew up in Egypt and I'm looking for someone to help me read and write to a higher level in Egyptian arabic and possibly other dialects and the Quran if possible. My spoken arabic is quite good and I can usually hold a long conversation but I struggle with complex topics and sometimes have a hard time getting my point across clearly. My reading and writing are at wuite a low level so I'm really looking for some help in that area.
I am a qualified English second language teacher with a TEFL certificate.
Im a musician, artist and work as a special needs educator. I love to read and write and am currently working on some fantasy worldbulding in my spare time. I am currentoy studying the maqamat (arabic music system) and hope to get myself an oud soon.

I am upper-beginner/lower-intermediate level (approx B1) and I love France and French culture. I work at the University of Bristol in a research support role. I have a Doctorate in English (poetry) and experience teaching English Literature to university students and school pupils. I am a qualified secondary school English teacher although I no longer teach in schools. Hello! I am a writer and activist who's currently studying a master's at the University of Bristol in Politics and Climate Change. I lived in Japan for two years around 2012 - watashi wa katsute Tokyo ni sunde imashita! - and really miss the language, the culture and the people. Kanji practice is still something I do every now and then, but I would love the opportunity to engage in a language exchange so I can practice my (terrible) nihongo!
