I am a university student. I reoriented my major for the master degree so I am actually doing a master in international relations - conflict resolution and i am really happy about what i am studying now.
i am a pretty simple person with a good personality and really open-minded ( being multicultural kinda forced it, right haha). my goals in life are pretty simple but let's talk about that later.
i love languages, i have been learning alone for quite a long time and there is still so many languages that i would love to learn.
For now on, i'm focused on my mandarin and my korean . But i am also open to making freinds of course. long lasting friend the better.

Hello! I recently moved to Gembloux, Belgium and would like to practice speaking with a native French speaker. I would love to talk about everyday events, books, movies, or anything else you're interested in! My goal is to feel comfortable when talking to strangers and to eventually feel confident when having intermediate-level conversations with French speakers.
I'm hoping to find someone who is serious and responsible about improving their English conversational skills. I have a Masters in TESOL and a PhD in Linguistics and over 20 years teaching English at American universities. I have plenty of experience to offer and hope to find someone who also has an educational background in French. Even though we will just be conversing in an enjoyable, relaxed manner, I do hope to find someone who has teaching experience in French.
I'm originally from San Francisco but have also lived in New York, Spain, Yemen, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, and France. (Yes, I lived in France and I still have difficulties speaking the language!)
I currently teach at Université de Liège - Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, but since I teach in English, I rarely get to practice French at work.

Je viens de m’installer à Gembloux, en Belgique, et j’aimerais pratiquer le français avec un locuteur natif. J’aimerais discuter d’événements quotidiens, de livres, de films ou de tout autre sujet qui vous intéresse ! Mon objectif est de me sentir à l’aise lorsque je parle avec des inconnus et, à terme, de pouvoir tenir des conversations de niveau intermédiaire avec des francophones en toute confiance.
Je cherche une personne sérieuse et fiable, qui souhaite également améliorer son anglais à l’oral. J’ai un Master en TESOL et un doctorat en linguistique, et j’enseigne l’anglais depuis plus de 20 ans dans des universités américaines. J’ai donc beaucoup d’expérience à partager et j’aimerais échanger avec quelqu’un qui a aussi une formation en enseignement du français. Même si nos échanges seront détendus et agréables, j’espère trouver quelqu’un ayant une expérience pédagogique en français.
