Hello there. How’s your day going?
I currently moved to Calgary from Japan and I don’t know anyone here. I’d like to make friends but no one is just hanging out because it’s minus twenty degrees Celsius outside and freezing. So.. im hoping to find someone who I can talk to here🤭
I was a nurse in Japan for ten years and an assistant nurse in Sydney for a year in 2019. I worked at oncology department, cardiovascular department, dialysis and er. Nursing can be quite challenging sometimes but I find it’s also rewarding.
My hobbies are hiking, traveling, handcrafts and cafe exploration.

I’m also drawn to languages like Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Norwegian, and Dutch, each for different emotional, cultural, or creative reasons. At my core, I’m someone who seeks freedom and depth through language, through art, and through stories that speak (or spoke) to me. I am currently learning Spanish and Arabic. However, I do feel the need to connect with my native heritage language (HT) as well as my second language (ENG) first -- before fully immersing myself in other languages...

Hi. I'm Catherine; I live in Montreal and want to improve my spoken French through conversation with a native french speaker. Although a senior, I'm physically active with dance, hiking, canoeing, etc. and keep mentally alert with travel, painting, reading, etc. Politics, social issues, the natural environment, psychology - just about everything interests me. Plus, bonus! - Having taught English professionally for many years, I can pinpoint another person's verbal bloops and help them improve.

I am currently trying to learn the beautiful language of Italian. However struggling to get enough practice to really be able to fluently speak.
