Hallo, ich bin Liu und komme aus China. Meine Muttersprache ist Chinesisch.
Zurzeit studiere ich in Deutschland und suche eine Vollzeitstelle. Ich habe früher Deutsch bis B1 gelernt, aber vieles vergessen, deshalb bin ich jetzt ungefähr auf A2-Niveau.
Ich möchte mein Deutsch intensiv verbessern, am liebsten durch tägliche Videoanrufe, damit ich sicher in Interviews sprechen kann.
Ich spreche auch fließend Englisch, aber ich möchte möglichst kein Englisch in unseren Gesprächen verwenden, damit ich Deutsch üben kann – und ich kann dir auch Chinesisch beibringen 😊

My name is Jaron. I´m German, currently living in Hannover (but I definitely want to move somewhere else. Any suggestions? 😉) . I would love to find people to practice my English, Spanish, French and Italian with. In exchange, I´ll be more than happy to help with your German!
Things I really enjoy include reading all kinds of books, writing, puzzling over life´s riddles and absurdities, going for walks or hikes, watching the leaves fall or the flowers blossom, listening to music (mostly various subgenres of Metal as well as Ambient, Nordic Folk and Stoner Rock, but I´m absolutely open to other genres), watching films /TV shows as well as getting to know interesting people and their stories. And of course, I have always loved learning languages.
However, as a rather introverted guy, I tend to be shy at first and can feel quite awkward, even anxious about making mistakes or generally making a fool of myself when talking in a foreign language. (Do any of you experience this contradiction, too – genuinely wanting to connect with people from all places and walks of life while having a hard time coming out of your shell?) This has kept me from practicing and learning for far too long. But now, I´ve decided to make a change and overcome my fear of writing in and speaking foreign languages. So, if you´re up for a chat about any topic you like, do leave me a message – I look forward to being penpals with or e-meeting you soon. 😊
PS: I would greatly appreciate it if you don´t hate the LGBTIQ+ community (or any other specific group, for that matter).

I'm Magdalene and I'm a language learning addict with no plans to quit.
I speak German and English (3rd language) fluently.
I've been learning 'ōlelo Hawai'i (Hawaiian for Hawaiian) for 2 years and Latin (classic) for 1,5 years on Duolingo and although it's a nice start, the app has taught me all it can. I'm still on there for beginner's Swedish and some remedial French, though, and to make sure I don't forget anything while I carry on with books (including grammar books and the first volume of the Harry Potter series in each language). I'm currently reading "Fluent Forever" and I'm quite enjoying it. It's helpful especially for building a good learning habit with flashcards.
I'd love to train more actual conversational skills and build up my vocabulary as well as understanding the grammatical intricacies of my languages better, especially in Latin, where I probably have slightly better chances to find someone to chat with - but if anyone would like to converse in Hawaiian, I'd be thrilled! Sadly, I couldn't even add it to my list of languages.
I'm a good teacher, too, so if you'd like to learn German or improve your English, I'd be happy to help.
