现代希腊语Hello, my name is Nikos (寧恪) and I am a Chinese-Studies student from the UK. I spent around nine months in Taiwan during 2024-5 and fell in love with the country! I love travelling and I am interested in culture and anthropology. I am looking in particular for someone who can help me with my Taiwanese Hokkien / 台語, which I am a complete beginner in. Mandarin exchanges also welcome!

I’m a mature learner and want to improve my French. I’m afraid my level is basic (A2 level). I’m a well-traveled person. I like to read current affairs, am interested in other cultures, and am open to any topic of conversation. I’m an English teacher and can help you improve your English. I have a voracious appetite for learning, my garden is my favourite place, travelling is one of my passions, quite an adventure person, generally interested in people, a keen observer and I'm willing to stretch my comfort zone.

乌尔都语Hi, I'm Zahra. Me and my sister Maya and I would like to learn a few languages in a fun way, and were studying IGCSE. We know English well, but aim to speak it fluently (since we stumble in conversation sometimes). both of us want to learn Urdu and Bangla and understand these languages (since were a total beginners).
I like drawing/painting and baking, while my sister likes animating and chess both of us like watching YouTube and learning new things (and watch a few animated series).

Hi there, I joined this group to have some socialising time. I studied and worked in the UK for 17 years and I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and learning more about them. I speak several languages, but some of these are getting rusty. These are German and Korean.

Hi! I am learning Japanese to improve my speaking and comprehension, especially for anime, reading and understanding Japanese culture more deeply.
I would love to practice conversational Japanese, learn new expressions and focus on improving my reading skills.
I am happy to help you with your English in return.
I love plants, so I have a small indoor garden, anime, reading and going to the theatre. One day I hope to visit Japans beautiful gardens and forests.

I'm a maths graduate turned software developer with a passion for Japanese. I've been self-teaching for a couple years now, so my reading and listening are okay, but my writing and speaking are terrible.
My main hobbies are board games, anime, manga, and knitting. Hoping to have fun improving my Japanese and helping others with their English if possible!

I have been teaching myself French for many years with on line courses, and many visits to France. I am retired and have two children and four grandchildren living in London, whom I visit frequently. We are all very fit and active, and walk a lot in the the beautiful London parks. I can read and write French fairly well but would really like to improve my spoken French. I do Tai chi, yoga, line dancing and walking. I love the theatre, cinema, and going out for meals. I also enjoy travelling. I have friends in Florida whom I visit and my sister in SAfrica who I visit to escape some of the winter. I also enjoy Europe and we will have a family holiday in Spain in August, this year.
