既然我在美國住過四十年多，我就也會英語。

I have been interested in learning languages for a long time, specifically French, German, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, and hopefully others at some point. :) I would really appreciate help on any of those and would be happy to help out with English in return! I've been studying Japanese on my own for a while, but I've recently realized just how bad my typing/speaking skills are, so I'm hoping for a chance to improve them by talking with real people.
My reading abilities are OK, but I'm very bad with actually writing sentences, so apologies in advance if my Japanese is awkward or doesn't make sense. I would also prefer text based conversation for now, though I aim to get practice and eventually get out of my comfort zone.
As for my hobbies, I like to draw, read, and watch movies. I'm a lover of nature, art, and generally learning about the world and other people. I'm also always looking for new music to listen to if you have anything to share. Hopefully we can get along!

约鲁巴语Hi, I want to learn Mandarin, Hebrew, French, and Yoruba currently. I think it'd be more helpful to speak to someone more advanced than me on their end of what they're trying to improve language wise. It would be helpful to have structure, plans, and perhaps a schedule. I'm a Christian, and I think it would be good to know Hebrew when it comes to the Bible, but also because that's what I want anyway; to speak, write, and understand Hebrew. I partially come from an Ivorian background, so I want to learn French. I go to an HBCU surrounded by people of different cultures and the one I took interest in was Nigeria, so I want to learn Yoruba. I was exposed to this culture through soccer. I took a course for Mandarin, but didn't really commit like I could have, but I took an interest in learning Mandarin, so if anyone could help me with any of these languages, please, I'm open to learn. I love the idea of knowing other languages. I would be able to communicate with others aside from English and have a deeper understanding of the Bible and expand in wisdom on my journey of following Jesus Christ.

I live in southern California. I'm an academic and career counselor working with college students and established professionals. I love to travel and learn about other cultures.
I've been learning Korean for more than 3 years by taking classes and self-study. I have visited Korea three times.
I'm at the middle intermediate level. I would like to improve my speaking proficiency by practicing basic, everyday conversation with native Korean speakers. I also want to improve my listening comprehension. My goal is to become comfortable in basic, everyday Korean, not become a perfectly native level speaker.
Ideally, we would meet once or twice per week to practice. I have my own learning material I can share. I'm happy to help you with English speaking and writing, too! I have a lot of experience with university-level writing and business communication.
I can meet by Zoom, What's App, Skype, or KakaoTalk. If you live in Orange County or Los Angeles, I would love to meet in person!
