Hello everyone, I'm a native German speaker and a language freak. I've been working on my English intensively for several years now. Meanwhile, I think, it has improved a lot and I feel quite confident with it. But I'm still a learner, who makes mistakes. The grammar is still bothering me at times, because I learned most things by doing. Although the pronunciation of new words very often succeeds instinctively, that doesn't always work. I'd love to assist others with German in a conversational way to not get worse again, and to hone my language skills. I'm a huge fan of the Irish accents that are spoken more in the west and south of Ireland and around Dublin, but my own English is, I guess, a wild mix of everything from everywhere. I see English as a lingua franca, as kind of my door to the world, to other cultures. I love playing with language and language(s). I also like poetry, but don't know much of poetry in English yet. I do some sport, I love nature and walk my dog in every weather in nature. Besides that, my interests are manifold (I just lack the time to do everything as intensively as I would love to). Anyway, I think, there will always be a topic to talk about. If I didn't scare you off and you wanna give us a go, then hit me up, Antje

Hi, my name is Joel Bean- I am an English/German (and on occasion Spanish) teacher and former musician from the USA, currently living in Warsaw. I am extremely passionate about languages/culture and how it can help us to develop a much wider understanding of every aspect of life and help to build meaningful relationships with other people. With this in mind, my goal is to be able to take in the culture, language, and perspective of others with an open and curious mind, and to also be able to teach and share my own culture, language, and experience through history, music, philosophy, and other disciplines. I want to be able to foster a sense of "cultural counterpoint"; that is, the ability to see the same basic object via several lenses at once, something which can be a direct outcome of the language learning process. If this sounds good to anybody, and you would like to become a friend, please don't hesitate to reach out- I would especially be happy to meet anybody in person!
I really love Steve Kaufmann and his respective methods in particular, and I would love to find others who share a similar enthusiasm for languages and in particular enjoy the process of learning. There are also several other polyglots/language enthusiasts whom I enjoy and I will be happy to name as well :)
My German is at a C2 level, my Spanish is just right below, my Portuguese somewhere just under that, and my Ukrainian and Polish are somewhere in the middle (chcę zdać egzamin języka polskiego na poziomie B2 w ciągu najbliższych trzech lat)
Met het Nederlands ben ik nog en beginner, maar ik find deze taal eekt leuk (i gemakkelijk) ook ik will een dag uit Polen naar Nederland verhuizen :)
I would, in any case, like to refine all of the aforementioned languages to an extremely high level (with the goal of at some point being able to pass an advanced exam for all of those )
Cheers!

Hola!

Hi! My name is Elias and I'm a 26 y.o. recent graduate living in Granada. I'm looking to keep learning Japanese, especially to practice my meager spoken skills. I'm happy to teach Spanish or English, both languages I'm perfectly fluent in. I can also very proficient in German, if a bit less confident in teaching it (I'm half German).
I would be happy to chat about whatever and wherever, be it in a coffee shop or while taking a walk. Reach out to me if this would be something you are interested in!! Looking forward to a nice language exchange :)

Normal People scare me. So, feel free to write me, when you're crazy like me. I´m interested in learning new languages. Of course, I love to experience new cultures, too.
Right now, focusing on my Portuguese (mainly Brazilian, but open for everything). Please, still text me for Spanish, but I can't focuse on two so similar languages the same time. When I reached a certain level of Portuguese, we can talk about Spanish :)
Je cherche quelqu'un pour apprendre le français (la plus belle langue du monde).
J'ai appris français cinq ans à l'école et maintenant je veux parler et écrire avec un locuteur natif.
Toujours l`amour <3🏳️🌈
[And please just people around my age, thanks for appreciation :)]

I am Chinese-Canadian who was born in China, emigrated to Canada as a child to an English-speaking city. I also learned French in school. I studied German and Latin at university; starting in Canada, transferred by credits to Germany and finished my BA in Germany, during the course of which I also earned a "Latinum" in Germany.
I proceeded to study my MA in the Czech Republic, as well as having learned some Polish, Russian and Finnish, all for various reasons. I am the most fluent with Polish, as I was an international student while in Germany, in the same social group as the Polish students who also went to Germany for university.
In the personality typology system, I tested INTP. I cannot drink alcohol, as I am Asian, and I have what is called the "Asian flush."
