I was born and raised in Taiwan and have been teaching Secondary English for close to 10 years. I am fluent in Mandarin and in English and have teaching certificates for both languages. I love reading, vocab, puns, and teaching, of course! Since taking a sabbatical and staying a couple of months in France, I've returned with a renewed passion to improve my French speaking skills. I love pop culture, trivia, literature, philosophy, psychology, and talking about anything and everything. I really hope to find an exchange partner who is committed to practicing the language and trusts the process :)

Ça fait 24 ans que j'habite a Marseille.
J'ai eu récemment la chance de faire des échanges interculturelle qui m'ont permis d'approfondir mes connaissances sur la Pologne, l'Allemagne et la Bosnie, et j'ai envie de continuer a communiquer en Allemand et en Polonais, sur un rythme journalier. J'etudie l'ingénierie mécanique et je chante danse et joue de la musique j'espère d'ailleurs former un groupe de musique pop rock de nationalités diverses.

I am retired. Love to travel the world. Japan is my top destination: people, food, culture, scenery, and onsen. Been to Japan around 31 times, for business and vacation. Walked the Shikoku pilgrimage (ohenro) three times, in 2016, 2019, and 2023. Since November 2019, decided to learn Japanese in earnest. Looking for partners to communicate and converse in Japanese and English.

Hi I'm Rachel, I'm British but live in Cairo Egypt. I have been learning Spanish on and off for 2 years. I'd say I'm just around level 2.2 but with some gaps on basic stuff. I'm happy to help improve English skills. If you speak Spanish and want to learn English you could be around low intermediate English and we'll be OK, I think.
A bit about me, I like travelling and finding random adventures to go on. I do humanitarian work for my job, though currently volunteering supporting organisations based in Gaza and Egypt. I am from near Manchester (red, before you ask :-) ) but do not visit home as often as I would like.
