I AM TAKING A BREAK FROM EXCHANGES FOR THE TIME BEING
Hi
My name is Julian and I live in the Liverpool area of the north of England. I am looking to do a language exchange with a native Arabic speaker.
I studied Arabic many years ago at university and learnt Fusha and Egyptian dialect but today I would struggle to have even a basic conversation. So, if you're happy to help me become conversational in Arabic and are patient in nature it would be good to speak to you.
In return I can help you with your English. In my job I am an English teacher and I am also a writer so my level and understanding of English is above average. I can help you whether you want to just be able to speak conversationally or whether you wish to acquire a more sophisticated and refined English.
I have a relaxed approach to learning and try to make the sessions enjoyable and fun too.
I use Zoom for language exchanges though I'm happy to use an alternative if you prefer.
My interests are politics, literature, cinema, walking, swimming, watching football, chatting with friends in cafes and learning languages.

I’m a retired dentist, I have been living in Sydney ( Australia) for the last 50 yrs. I’ve been studying Italian for about 3 or 4years.

I am a retired editor and writer. My mother was born in Berlin, into a Jewish family. She came to England in 1937, but she never taught me to speak German. I have been going to German classes for the last eighteen months, but am struggling with speaking. I'd like to talk every couple of weeks with someone - perhaps near me in age? - who wants to improve their spoken English. I am interested in books, films, politics, singing, walking.

泰语Hi, I am passionaye traveler and fan of a Japanese and Thai culture. I like discovering new places, experience local atmosphere, hike, trek, walk along jungles, rainforests and cultural sights. I like an authentic Japanese and Thai food, art and wildlife.
During my free time I am walking, practicing sport, cycling and exploring, chatting, painting and reading.
I know only a couple of Japanese and Thai words so my level is a very beginner. I can read Hatakana and Katakana, but not Kanji.
In relation to the Thai albphabet - it is still hard for me especially well pronouncing.
I would like to learn more and can spend on my own some free time to extend my knowledge however I need solid backgrounds.
If it is about my English level, I have a CPE exam and I am currently using both in my private and work life English.
I have some experience with handling conversations for other pupils.
I speak Polish as my native language.
My profession is IT - I am software architect and engineer.
