I am a retired MD. I have worked several years as a translator into Spanish and briefly as a tour guide. I would like to be more fluent in English and Portuguese for a start, perhaps some exchange in German or Russian would be possible later on. Me llamo Noelia. Soy una chica algo tímida pero muy abierta a los demás e interesada en conocer a personas de todo el mundo con el simple objetivo de hacer amistades y aprender sobre la vida. Paso la mitad de mi tiempo trabajando y la otra mitad estudiando, por lo que mi única vía de escape ante tanta obligación es convertir la práctica del inglés y del italiano en mi nuevo ocio.
Esa es la principal razón por la que estoy aquí. Quiero ganar fluidez en los dos únicos idiomas extranjeros que conozco y prepararme así para los exámenes de certificación. Espero conocer a personas interesantes en el proceso y hacer nuevas amistades.

My name is Noelia. I am a somewhat shy girl but very open to others and interested in meeting people from all over the world with the simple goal of making friends and learning about life. I spend half of my time working and the other half studying, so my only escape from so many obligations is to turn the practice of English and Italian into my new hobby.
