I took Mandarin classes at university for 4 years, and right now I'm studying independently. My current level is around HSK 3 or B1, and I'm especially looking to practice my spoken Mandarin. 'Ello, my name is Petrus. I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian who wants to learn Russian. Yes, I am Finnish by ethnicity. Arabic language is in my plans too, but Russian is currently the priority which I want to have my main focus on now for awhile. Also open to Serbian, Ukrainian and Church Slavonic (but, you don't speak that as your main language, right?)
Going to move to Helsinki soon so it will be my first time living there!
My interests/hobbies currently and from the past have been different religions, philosophy, films as an art, reading. Sounds snobish & nerdy, I know, but that's just how I grew up! Voluntary work and helping people is important to me. I've been in different roles of serving my local parish I am preparing to go study theology, which is related to why I want to especially learn these languages.
I know a bit of Biblical Hebrew, and that is a language I want to advance too more some day

I'm 26 years old and I'm from Finland. Currently I work as a pediatric nurse.
I speak Finnish, English, some Swedish and I studied Spanish for 3 years in high school (I understand more than I can speak).
I'd like to learn Korean, and maybe talk to someone in Spanish so I wouldn't forget the language completely. Would also be nice to just speak English with someone :)
As an opposite to my busy work atmosphere, I enjoy relaxing in my free time, for example playing games or watching series.
I'm really interested in different cultures, and getting friends from around the world seems like a nice idea, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested :)

Hello! Bonjour!
I am a Finnish woman who is currently studying musical theatre (comédie musicale). I worked in France as an aupair but unfortunately, I never achieved the French level I dreamed of! I am looking for someone who would be open to talk with me and correct me if I make mistakes. I am not looking for a teacher since I already have one, we can talk about everyday life and improve our skills as we go!
I am also interested in nature and animals (I have a degree in Zoology), spirituality and Eastern philosophy (although these topics are a bit above my current French level so I might not be able to speak about them just yet), and the arts (theatre, music, dance).
As for my goals with French; I am aiming to pass a DELF B2 exam in order to be able to study music in either France or Switzerland in the future. I would love to find someone who is comfortable with speaking over video call/Zoom (10-15 min doesn't have to be long) regularly as speaking is my weakest skill.
