Hey there! I'm Thenuka. I was born in Sri Lanka, and later moved to Canada at the age of 2. I grew up in Canada bilingual in both English and Sinhalese, before later moving to the U.S.A (San Francisco) where I now live.
I started studying Mandarin Chinese in university, and now have lower intermediate speaking/reading/writing ability. I'm looking to meet native Mandarin speakers that I can speak Mandarin with!
Some fun facts about me:
- I've lived in a Zen Buddhist temple for around 8 months now.
- I participated in a Chinese singing contest where I sang 童话 in a duet! I even won a Best Stage Presence award :)
- I've travelled to around 20 countries, and studied in 4 of them - China, Singapore, the U.K and Canada.
