中文 (普通话)Hi my name is Mark, and I am looking to practice Mandarin and French. I have some knowledge of Mandarin from Chinese shows and YouTube videos, but I have had little exposure to speaking. I can read some simplified characters (maybe 700-800, I’m not exactly sure) but have a long way to go.
For French I have decent comprehension, but would like to work on advanced vocabulary, grammar, slang, and pronunciation. I can generally hold a conservation if you speak slowly.
I can teach you English or Spanish up to an intermediate level (I am near fluent in the language with good grammar and above average pronunciation for an non-native speaker).

Hello! My name is actually not Jonnny, but I needed a six letter username. I spent 2017-2021 being an ALT in Japan in a small city called Rumoi on the northern island of Hokkaido. Lately, I’ve felt my Japanese has been going down the drain and talking to myself for language retention just isn’t enough anymore. I wouldn’t say I was the best, but conversational-level was enough to get me by. My hobbies include all the things traditional オタク like: games, anime, manga, etc. For non-otaku related hobbies… I guess eating food and discussing philosophy? Hi. My name is Raphael and I moved to Victoria BC at the beginning of this year (2022). I would mainly like to improve my Japanese language as I lived there for a while in 2015 but I sadly couldn't take classes at the time. I would also like to get better at spanish.
