I’m Jacob. 31 years old born and raised in Manchester. Done some extensive travelling and realised my GCSE in Spanish isn’t going to get me far so would love to be able to learn a bit more. Would be happy to help someone learn English in exchange for help in Spanish.

Hey! ¡Hola! こんにちは！ I'm a native (British) English speaker who's homeschooled and loves learning about other languages and cultures! I'm looking to make friends with people that can help me with the languages I am studying (girls only though, sorry guys).
Currently I am studying Spanish (for my GCSEs) and Japanese (for fun!), both of which I am a beginner in.
I know Hiragana and I'm learning Katakana (Kanji I struggle with a lot) via Duolingo and other minor Japanese sites. Looking to visit Japan sometime next year, so any tips are much appreciated!
I love anime, astronomy, cats and sci-fi novels. I also love listening to pop rock and alternative music, as well as the occasional J-pop single.
