Unfortunately did not grow up learning Bangla, so I am learning it now.
I also learnt french in school, so would like to keep my fluency there.

I just moved back to Maryland after over 11 years abroad. For fun, I like to read, listen to music, try new recipes, do art projects, and watch TV series and movies. I used to live in France, and I feel like I'm losing my French skills a little bit. It would also be great to talk to people with international perspectives. I'm interested in learning other languages, too, but I can only speak French so far.

Hello,
My wife and I hope to move to Thailand in the next year or so, but I'm still struggling to learn to sound out words written in Thai script! I know a lot of people in Thailand speak English, but it just seems respectful that if I come there I should at least make an effort to speak the language.
I like to write - I think of myself as a playwright but lately I've been writing stories. My wife and I like to watch anime together. I listen to a lot of podcasts while I work. My cat is very large and silly.
