中文 (广东话)Hey! I'm Chester. I was previously a university student studying Kinesiology, but I'm taking a break from school to discover my passions. Right now, I work at a supermarket and volunteer at my local botanical garden. In the spring, I’ll be heading to Arizona to apprentice on a farm!
I went to Fukuoka and Tokyo this past December and had a blast. I actually went there hoping to work in Japanese agriculture, but it didn't really work out as I intended. Nonetheless, I managed to get a basic Japanese certification while I was there called the JFT-Basic.
My Japanese isn't too great yet, but I’ve always wanted to learn the language to really connect with Japanese culture and media—I'm especially fond of Japanese cinema and anime. I enjoy playing games and making learning fun; if you're the type of person who likes to learn that way, please hit me up! I have Discord, and we could play Minecraft or whatever, really.
I’m also totally down for just having a conversation or roleplaying things you are interested in. We can play or chat in English, and I’m open to whatever way you want to teach me Japanese or exchange the language!
