越南语Hello! My name is Justin. I’m a native English speaker with a big interest in Vietnamese and coastal Chinese Culture. i am currently working on a book series about a strong female pirate and i am looking to do a culture exchange to learn more about the areas im righting about (and to make a penpal)
Some of my hobbies include Southeast Asian history, creative writing, music, and animation. I also enjoy relaxing with tea and exploring Buddhism. I’m friendly, curious, and always open to good conversations. looking to learn vietnamese and Laotian culture as well as china- VERY interested in Hongkong and Macau. as well as Hainan,Guang Dong and Guangxi. i know 2 people who live localy that live half the year in china and the other half live here to run a very upscale pottery and tea store.

I lived in Japan about 20 years ago. I studied some Japanese and can have short conversations. I studied for N3/2 but have forgotten most of the 単語、文法. I would love to reconnect to these and start using again. I listen to Japanese podcasts, so I can understand most of the easy ones.

I would also like to practice my French. I learned French in school here in Canada, but haven't used it much since then.
