I am an international student from China, and I came to Canada three years ago to study Computer Science. My native language is Mandarin Chinese, and I can also understand Cantonese and hold basic conversations in it. I am fluent in reading and writing both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, considering both as my first languages. Furthermore, English is my second language—or third, if you consider Cantonese as a separate language from Mandarin—and it is the primary language I use for studying and working currently. I have previously done a bit of self-study in Korean and Japanese online, and I have a strong interest in learning both of these languages. I am very willing and happy to communicate and practice languages with international friends who are interested in language exchange and cultural sharing.

Hi I’m Canadian I am interested in learning to speak and write in Korean in hopes to visit one day. English is my naive language we did study French in High School but have forgotten to speak and write the language. I was an elementary teacher. I love travel, hiking or camping. I did sing in a choir but I love Music and Art. Right now I workout keeping busy. I love Art and photography but not good at it lol 😂 I have 2 cats I could actually have a zoo. I use to collect animals for my class. Talk about dissecting owl scat for students to learn what owls 🦉 preyed on. I ran a garden club at school developed Science kits with a University our Science Centre. Hey hiked 2 days in Lapland. I’m very complex I could fill pages 😂 So if you are interested in teaching me conversational Korean and writing the language that would be awesome 😎
