Hello, my name is Oshen. I am a 17 year old woman from the United States. I want to learn Japanese through a language exchange partner, I am fluent in english, so I could try to help teach it. I am a fashion designer (just beginning). My hobbies include taking care of my plants (they're my babies), listening/playing music, designing clothes, drawing, sewing, and basically anything artistic. I love to learn, so a partner that knows the history of Japan would be awesome. I have lived in the United States my whole life, so I can help share American culture. The fact that I only know one language is disappointing and embarrassing to me. My favorite movies are Akira (1988) and Midsommar, my favorite song is Madre by Arca, and my favorite book is Killing Comemendatore by Haruki Murakami. I love to talk about fashion and anything artistic, or books. I want to learn about you and your daily life and hobbies. I have anxiety that makes me terrified to do phone or video calls, so I'm more comfortable messaging first and getting to know you. Then (hopefully) when we get to know each other, we can call on zoom or Skype or something : ). I'm fine with an older language partner, as long as they're not creepy.
