Hi! I I’m Dara. I grew up in Kazakhstan, studied in the US, and currently live in Moscow, Russia.

I have worked as a night-shift librarian, participated in creating a new international university and taught academic writing across the former Soviet Union. I currently work with educational projects and teach public speaking.

I also studied cultural anthropology and linguistics, so I have a genuine interest for other cultures and languages.

I love learning online (Coursera and MasterClass, anyone?), contemporary art, and living in big cities.

My first languages is Russian, I am close to native fluency in English, and I am currently looking for a Spanish-speaking language exchange buddy.
