Language.Exchange

Hello there : )

My name is Edward and I'm a 19 year old Law student currently living in Bayreuth, Germany. Regarding my languages, I am a German and English native speaker due to my half British, half German background. I also speak some French and high school Latin.

In terms of my interests, I love learning and reading, especially about topics like History, Politics, Economics and Science. I also like to play Tennis and Ping Pong when I get the chance. Another area of interest for me is video games, both to play and (try to) develop them. My favourite music genres are J-pop and classical music (weird mix I know).

I'm interested in foreign languages and cultures due to my binational background, but also because I spent the last two years of high school in Qatar (middle east) at an international school. Having come back, I still speak to a lot of friends I met there online and since I also love travelling I think the idea of a language exchange partner is really appealing.

I started studying Japanese a few months back and am also attending a language course at my university for this. I would definitely say that my Japanese is still basic, but I do know Hiragana, Katakana, a good amount of vocabulary and some Kanji.

I'm sure there are many things to talk about since I adore Japanese video games and also watch some anime. If you have any questions about Germany I would be pleased to answer those too of course.
