I have studied French a number of years, and have visited France many times. I am a forester, lawyer, and retired last year as a consultant in transportation safety My interests are in the history.language and the culture and governance (politics ) of France . My wife and I live in Maine, and enjoy walking and hiking in our mountain environment as well as wine, music, plays and other opportunities in Portland Maine, and the Northeast. I would be very happy to help you with formal and informal English conversation and to understand life in the USA. I would benefit greatly from lots of conversation and help in French. My needs are to converse often and appreciate learning to improve!
