Language.Exchange

My mother tongue is Mandarin Chinese. I was born and raised in China, so I’m very familiar with the language and culture. I hold both an undergraduate and a master’s degree, and I’ve worked as a teacher in China. I also have a Chinese Teacher Qualification Certificate and experience teaching Mandarin to English speakers. I can teach patiently and skillfully, and I even know a bit of Chinese calligraphy. No matter your current level of Chinese, you’re welcome, so don’t worry!

I’m currently living in New Zealand. I can speak English, but I’m not yet fluent enough to chat smoothly with locals. My learning goal is to improve my speaking and listening skills, so it would be great if you’re familiar with New Zealand culture.

My hobbies include playing badminton, hiking, watching movies, reading, traveling, and learning about other cultures.

I’d prefer to have voice calls at early stage, and if we feel comfortable, we can arrange to meet face-to-face to learn languages if possible. I’m thinking about 1 hour once a week, but I’m open to other ideas.
