Hey! I’m Paola. I’m originally from Panama, but I’ve been living in Costa Rica since I was 17. Right now, I am about to graduate, so life keeps me pretty busy at the moment. I am a Mandarin native speaker. I also speak Taiwanese. I was an English/Mandarin translator with a Master's degree in Linguistics. Also, I am certified by the Taiwan government to teach Mandarin . In the past, I tutored history and biology in English to Taiwanese private school students. horse riding, scuba diving , cooking, and playing Erhu (Chinese musical instrument ) are what I like most so far. Now, I am looking for native French, Spanish, or other native speakers to do language exchange on a regular basis. . 🤗As for Mandarin, I can help you with different PinYin systems, ㄅㄆㄇㄈ, or IPA to start with. 😀As for English, I can help you in terms of Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. 😅As for Taiwanese, …you better give up right now …unless you are willing to get your ears ready to differentiate 7-8 tones.
